Hi. This site uses frames. Evidently, your browser doesn't support them, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this.
So here's the nutshell:
The Freethought Society of Northern Utah was founded in June of 1999 in response to a growing need for such a group in the areas north of Salt Lake City. While open to anyone, we anticipate membership primarily from those who do not wish to commute as far as the city. FSNU is centered in the Ogden area.
Our goals are as follows:
- To educate others about the nature of freethought and the role freethought has played in our history.
- To fight religious discrimination in our society.
- To protest breaches in the wall of separation between church and state, as specified in the First Amendment to the U. S. Constitution.
- To support others who are affected adversely by religion and religious attitudes.
- To participate in community service and charity work, helping our fellow humans in any way we can.
- To establish a community of freethinkers for the purposes of socializing and having fun!
