What is your e-mail address? (optional)
What is the name and URL of your homepage? (optional)
Where do you live? (City, State, Country)
Residing Columbus, Ohio (USA), home is out West.
How would you best describe your form of freethought? (Atheist, Agnostic, Humanist, etc.)
Were you raised as a freethinker or to be religious?
Uncontrollable freethinker. Family = Mom = Roman Catholic, 4-sisters = Christian, Muslim, Prodestant, Jehovah Witness
Dad = ? can't seem to decide firmly
What originally set you on the path to freethought?
When did you "come out" as a freethinker to family/friends/public, and how did it go over?
Jr. High, linked back to unstated fact in 3rd grade.
How did it come off: Everyone knew I'd likely be 'different.'
Do you feel it necessary to continue to hide your beliefs in any circumstances, and if so, why?
No, yet yet. I don't keep it hidden - yet at times I don't make it
overly obvious - a Co-Existing requirement amongst those non-open minded.
Have you ever been the victim of discrimination or abuse because of your beliefs?
Sure, anything from business to relationships - one often gets
re-tiered to a lower ladder position anytime one doesn't fit all standard
stereotypes of a person's, group's, or organization's edicts.
In what types of freethought activism, if any, do you participate?
A retired business owner going pro-activist writer for the rest of my
current existence.
What do you feel is the best part of being a freethinker?
Knowing one has the Right to Ask, the Right to Listen, the
Right to Evaluate & the Right to Choose.
What do you feel is the worst part of being a freethinker?
Self-centered, egotistical core foundations = 'When a want
becomes a need consequences become irrelevant' types.
What is the societal atmosphere for freethinkers where you live?
Most are open to freethinkers - as long as they don't have
to tolerate them for more than for a night's entertainment. But then,
'most' denotes 'average' which in turn equates to 'mediocre' = not
a freethinking environment.
How do you define "freedom of religion" and do you think your country attempts to grant this?
Oxymoron. 'Religion' requires one 'to-do' as told.
'Freedom' ensures one the Right to 'choose.'
If you could share one thought with whoever might read this profile of you, what would it be?
Independent Thinking and the Right of Independence requires one's
unbridled commitment to the Right to Co-Exist for all things in, on,
and around Mother Earth. Tolerating less allows a malignant cancer
of counter-revolution to eat away at Independence and at Mother Earth's
Rights - ultimately leading to the non-existence of humans, independent
ones first, on this planet.
