About Formalis Software

Formalis Software provides CGI scripting services as the front or back end for World Wide Web based forms. Our goal is to provide our customers with affordable, top quality scripting services.

Ownership of scripts

All Formalis Software scripts are the sole property of Formalis Software. Customers are granted a non-exclusive license to use a script as described in this agreement. This includes scripts modified to customer specification unless a separate written agreement grants ownership of the script to the customer.
 

Modification of scripts

Modification of a script is not covered by the monthly usage fee. Modification includes changes to a script's configuration, upgrading an existing script to include features that were not offered when service was started, and changes to the way a script operates. Charges for modifying an existing script will be quoted on a case by case basis.
 

Support

Support is only offered through the world wide web and electronic mail. Support does not include developing or diagnosing problems with customer forms. If you are having problems with a script, visit our support page or send electronic mail to <formalis@bee.net>. Be sure to include a complete description of what the problem is, who it affects, when it occurs, and anything else you think may be relevant.
 

Period of service

Fees for licensing a script are quoted on a monthly basis, but there is a minimum license duration of six (6) months.
 

Disclaimer

You agree that use of scripts provided by Formalis Software is at your sole risk. Scripts and documentation are provided as is and without warranty of any kind. Formalis Software expressly disclaims all warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Formalis Software does not warrant that the functions of the scripts will meet your requirements or that the operation of the scripts will be uninterrupted or error free. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall Formalis Software be liable for any incidental or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the scripts, even if Formalis Software has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Formalis Software's total liability to you for any damages or losses exceed the amount paid by you to Formalis Software. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Formalis Software.
